Choose wisely when you invest.​ I do.

As the owner of Lotus Blossom I believe in using only the highest quality professional products made with premium ingredients by companies who have been in the business of skin for as long as I have. My two favorites, Dermalogica and PCA Skin (PCA=Physicians Care Alliance) are both companies that were founded by estheticians and developed by dermatologists, botanists, chemists and scientists who are foremost in their field. 

I truly believe that art and science combined with nature (AKA: medicine?) is the best method for creating effective, highly potent products that are safe to the environment and humans and more importantly, compatible with our largest organ: THE SKIN. The products I've chosen are made to integrate with your skin and work FOR you. They are not tested on animals. They are free of synthetic dyes and fragrances, mineral oil, lanolin, phthalates, S.D. alcohol, parabens and microplastics. The sunscreens do not contain oxybenzone or octinoxate and are reef and people safe.  

Both Dermalogica and PCA Skin use natural and botanical ingredients but there are many chemical compounds within, some created with natural ingredients, some manmade, but all together they  produce the best outcome for and within your skin.

As an example, the difference between a DIY papaya mask and PCA Skin's Revitalize Papaya mask; you must put papaya through the chemical process of fermentation with both ripe and unripe fruit in order to obtain the maximum bioactive principals of the enzyme papain that actually does something to your face. Once fermented, the papain offers powerful antioxidant properties due to its glucosinolates. It reduces lipid peroxidation and traps free radicals responsible for oxidative stress that damages cells and causes premature aging. It literally digests the dead skin cells on your face. It reduces inflammatory cells, increases neovascularization, and improves the organization of collagen and elastic fibers which produce a significant increase in growth factor. The result: a brightening and tightening effect. That won't happen by slathering fresh papaya on your face. 

I do not recommend products because of their brilliant marketing strategies, star branding or whatever famous spokesperson vouches for them. I refuse to buy into popular gimmicks or claim stamps such as organic, natural, botanical, gluten free, vegan, carbon neutral, non-comedogenic, chemical free, etc.  I have tested many and found that they cannot back up their claims and fall short of my standards. I remain skeptical of all that is vogue and trendy. With over twenty years of doing skin I have seen the end result of these passing fads and therefore question everything.

My primary concern is your skin health and the outstanding results my products produce for you. What you'll find at Lotus Blossom are only the best "tried and true" products that I trust explicitly.
